About The Position

The Border Technology Acquisition and Business Analyst will work on a dynamic and cross functional team supporting U.S Federal border security customers. The candidate will collect and document requirements, transform, integrate, and analyze acquisition and performance data to discover trends, and develop outcome centric communication products in support of organizational and mission goals and data-driven decision-making for the client. Responsibilities may include: Developing technical and business requirements to inform development of analytical products, integrated data models and executive dashboards Identifying, summarizing, and cataloging data, performance and risk areas, and making recommendations to the client on how to resolve or mitigate the issues. Analyzing business and operational processes to identify gaps and risks and develop mitigation strategies Developing intuitive, attractive, and interactive strategic data and communication products to effectively convey acquisition programs cost, schedule and performance metrics. Supporting key mission partners within the Washington DC Metro region at various client sites

Requirements

  • An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED CBP PUBLIC TRUST and/or An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED "TOP SECRET" Federal or DoD security clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • FIVE (5) years of consulting and/or professional experience
  • THREE (3) years supporting the Department of Homeland Security
  • Demonstrated experience producing reports and/or executive briefings using tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik or other information visualization products

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree
  • Active Project Management Professional, Certified Scrum Master or other relevant professional project management certification
  • Experience developing strategic communications plans and strategies
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing data and/or operational processes associated with federal acquisition programs
  • Experience developing trainings and/or user guides associated with deployment of new tools, processes or technologies
