About The Position

Join a team that gets the job done and builds with precision! What is a Boom Truck Driver? Our Boom Truck Drivers will be responsible for delivering and setting steel beams and columns in an efficient and timely manner for builders of new construction residential houses using a straight truck with air brakes and a minimum 90’ 23-ton stick boom. Ensure we meet or exceed our customer’s expectations. Requirements

Previous experience in truck driving or other related fields
Commercial driver's license (Class B CDL W/Airbrakes).
Experience running a boom
Strong work ethic

Nice To Haves

Experience running a boom truck
Welding, torch cutting and operating a forklift are a plus.

Responsibilities

Inspect truck before and after each trip
Load and unload steel beams and columns on the boom truck
Safely operate a boom truck
Set beams in place using a straight boom truck crane
Properly track and document activity log
Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
Fill out necessary paperwork, daily log report, overage, shortage and damage form, etc.
Maintain inventory of tools for assigned truck.
Keeping truck, toolboxes clean and organized

Benefits

$27/hr, with higher pay based on experience
Sign on bonus $3,000 paid ½ after 30 days and the other half after 60 days
On-the-job training
8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday-Friday
