About The Position

This is a full-time position working Monday - Friday at a pay rate of $30.00 -$34.00 per hour. SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: In cooperation with the CEO this position oversees payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable and maintenance of company financial records. SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: · Prepare and submit payroll for processing. · Record financial transactions. · Update and maintain general ledger. · Update and maintain financial records. · Track company income and expenses. · Reconcile company bank accounts. · Prepare invoices for state grants. · Prepare medical billing claims to insurance companies. · Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. · In collaboration with the CEO, coordinate with tax accountants and auditors. COMMUNICATION: · Participates in staff meetings and in-service training sessions. · Consults with Program Administrators and Managers as needed to gather information. · Request’s literature, in-service or orientation on a given topic. · Demonstrates accountability regarding equipment and supplies. QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, EDUCATION and LICENSURE: · A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a bookkeeper in the private sector. · Experience with QuickBooks online is required. · Experience with Paylocity a plus. · Experience with government contracts is desirable. · Experience with Medicaid billing is desirable. · Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively. · Excellent written and verbal communication skills. · Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities. Requirements Description: Compute, classify, and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting, and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records. May also check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings pertaining to business transactions recorded by other workers.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a bookkeeper in the private sector.
  • Experience with QuickBooks online is required.
  • Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding problem-solving and organizational abilities.
