About The Position

We’re partnering with Bachendorf’s, the only multi-brand, multi-location jewelry retailer in the DFW area, as they look to add a Bookkeeper to one of their Dallas locations. This is a fully onsite position that blends traditional bookkeeping responsibilities with day-to-day operational and administrative support for the Store Manager. About 60% of the role will focus on bookkeeping, with the remainder supporting store operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and doesn’t mind being involved beyond just the numbers. If you’re looking for a purely back-office, traditional accounting role with minimal interaction, this likely wouldn’t be the best fit. However, if you value being a trusted resource within a team and appreciate a mix of structure and collaboration, this could be a great opportunity. Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of general bookkeeping experience required
  • Strong computer fluency with fast, efficient system navigation required
  • Ability and willingness to work onsite each day

Responsibilities

  • Handle day-to-day bookkeeping at the store
  • Ensure accurate entry of sales in CRM (Salesforce)
  • Reconcile daily batching reports
  • Oversee intra-store merchandise transfers
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized financial records
  • Process vendor invoices and payments in a timely manner
  • Ensure confidentiality when handling sensitive financial information
  • Identify discrepancies and assist with process improvements
  • Support month-end commissions calculations
  • Partner with the Store Manager on operational and administrative needs
  • Coordinate with the Corporate teams to support consistent workflows and communication
