The Bookkeeper will provide accounting support for the property management team, and function as a key member of the management team, reporting to Senior General Manager, Retail Mall. This position will average around 28 hrs/week.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Associate's degree in accounting
• 2-3 years bookkeeping experience in a retail environment preferred
• Microsoft Office product knowledge, Excel and real estate accounting software preferred
• Sitting at the computer for long periods of time

Responsibilities

• Make collections calls
• Enter cash receipts
• Enter billing adjustments
• Perform tenant ledger reconciliations
• Enter invoices
• Ensure proper audit trail and supporting documentation
• Review leases and leasing activity and ensure accurate billing
• Review and/or calculate additional charges as applicable
• Maintain sales information
• Collect sales reports
• Enter sales into accounting system
• Maintain vendor, sales, and other necessary files
• Assist the property accountant as needed
• Additional work related tasks assigned.
