About The Position

Legacy Parking is a rapidly growing Parking Asset Management company looking to add a Bookkeeper to the Legacy Parking team in downtown Miami! The Bookkeeper is responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate data input related to accounts payable, accounts receivable, transient and contract revenue to manage reporting, reconciliations, and the payment functions for a designated parking location.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in data processing, accounts receivables, accounts payable, and revenue collected a plus
  • Ability to speak English and Spanish preferred

Responsibilities

  • Enter transient revenue received and reconciles to bank deposit statements on a daily basis
  • With the corporate office, assist with enrolling new monthly contract parkers, managing parker accounts, issues with monthly invoices, collect payment and post to appropriate GL accounts
  • Completing daily ticket summary reports
  • Maintains contract parker aged trial balances and pursues collection of past due accounts
  • With the corporate office, process the various types of invoices received by completing check requests and posting payment to appropriate GL accounts- Reconcile GL accounts for monthly close
  • Assist the corporate office with monthly close process by reconciling GL accounts, reviewing both internal financial statements and client statements and investigate discrepancies
  • May provide Office Manager services
  • May be required to provide special financial reports as requested by a location’s client
  • Other special projects as assigned by location management
