About The Position

This position provides comprehensive administrative, financial, health, and attendance support for the Englewood Campus. Responsibilities include managing accounts payable, budget transfers, journal entries, deposits, account reconciliation, data entry, recordkeeping, database management, inventory control, and purchasing. The role analyzes financial and operational reports, recommends and implements process improvements, and supports campus staff with assigned administrative functions. In addition, the position is responsible for delivering basic student health services, including first aid, medication administration, and care for ill or injured students. It maintains accurate student health records and databases, generates required reports, and supports health and wellness initiatives. The role also coordinates all student attendance processes, including collecting, verifying, tracking, and reporting absences and tardies, addressing truancy concerns, and ensuring compliance with district information systems and procedures. This position fosters positive, collaborative relationships with students, staff, families, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Bookkeeper (.25 FTE)
  • Create and process purchase requisitions; order supplies as requested
  • Review purchase orders for account accuracy
  • Perform full-cycle accounts payable duties
  • Maintain and improve accounts payable processes
  • Process budget transfers and journal entry requests
  • Prepare and process bank deposits
  • Maintain and track inventory supplies
  • Reconcile monthly bank statements
  • Provide excellent customer service
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Health Assistant/Attendance (.75 FTE)
  • Provide first aid and basic medical care to students; assess injuries and respond appropriately, including emergency procedures when necessary.
  • Monitor chronic health conditions, communicable disease exposure, and perform basic medical procedures (e.g., glucose testing, epinephrine administration, catheterization).
  • Administer and document medications; maintain required authorization and notify families of supply needs.
  • Maintain accurate student health records, including daily logs, immunization compliance, and state-required reports.
  • Develop and track immunization plans and ensure all student records meet state requirements.
  • Communicate with parents/guardians and staff regarding student illness, injuries, absences, and health concerns.
  • Complete incident reports, document head injuries, and coordinate student dismissal when needed.
  • Track, verify, and report student attendance; follow up on absences and tardiness with families and administration.
  • Coordinate and conduct annual vision and hearing screenings; manage referrals and follow-up care.
  • Serve as child abuse reporting liaison in accordance with district policies.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and fully stocked health office; manage inventory and supplies.
  • Collaborate with the district nurse regarding student health concerns and trends.
  • Support school operations with clerical duties, including front office assistance and data entry.
  • Assist with student supervision during lunch, recess, and school activities as needed.
  • Safely assist students with mobility and personal care needs when required.
  • Build positive relationships with students, families, and staff to support student well-being.
  • Participate in required trainings, meetings, and professional learning communities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
  • Provide guidance, trouble shooting, and training on equipment or systems.
  • Create and maintain spreadsheets.
  • Generate reports as requested or required.
  • Actively participate in required training.
  • Apply and implement knowledge, skills and new understandings to support the system and processes.
  • Supervise the behavior and safety of students while in the health room.
  • Provide data and reports related to student health, immunization, attendance and student count.
  • Provide assistance in main office.
