About The Position

Care for our community, and your career. Maintains fixed asset module for all Samaritan companies. Prepares related reports and reconciliations. Records and maintains daily financial transactions, performing reconciliations, assisting accountants in preparing financial statements and closing books.

Requirements

  • Attention to detail and accuracy of work.
  • Ability to use computer, excel, and software applications.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
  • Must possess a high degree of honesty and integrity.
  • Ability to work efficiently and effectively under deadline pressure/stress preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
  • Maintains fixed asset modules for all Samaritan Companies.
  • Reconciling fixed assets, payroll and accounts payable bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Monitoring financial transactions and reports.
  • Processing accounts receivable and payable.
  • Depositing and recording other cash checks.
  • Understanding ledgers.
  • Working with an accountant when necessary.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.
