The Legal Services unit of Travelers Bond & Specialty Insurance (“Travelers Bond Legal”) is seeking a current law student for a legal intern position for summer 2026. This internship is based in Hartford, Connecticut, and interns in this program will be paid an hourly rate based on their current year of law school. The legal intern's primary duties will be to assist Travelers Bond Legal with legal research on a wide variety of topics, with a focus on transactional and regulatory issues. The position will require 40 hours per week during the summer, with the possibility for part-time work during the 2026-2027 school year if there is mutual interest. The summer internship will begin on June 2, 2026, and run through the middle of August 2026 with some flexibility on the intern's end date.

Requirements

Applicants must be authorized to work for ANY employer in the U.S. The company does not sponsor/support H-1B petitions, TN, or Forms I-983/STEM OPT, for this role.
Must be a current law student with an anticipated graduation date of May 2027 or later.
