About The Position

The Bolt Room team member will be responsible for panning bolts out for orders and transporting them in and out of staging area for assembly.

Requirements

• Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or shipping/receiving experience is preferred.
• General knowledge of small hand tools.
• Complete tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules and customer specifications with minimum supervision.
• Interpersonal and group communications skills are necessary.
• Be familiar with, and use, measuring tools.
• Must be able to perform simple shop math.
• Must be able to read and interpret customer spec cards and maintain production flow.
• Clean and maintain the work area.
• Follow prescribed safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Report defective materials, or questionable conditions, to the supervisor.
• Must be able to regularly lift and move materials or finished products up to 50 pounds
• Required to stand, bend, lift arms, and reach.

Nice To Haves

• Preferred fork lift experience.

Responsibilities

• Panning bolts out for orders and transporting them in and out of staging area for assembly.
• Maintain re-order points.
• Keep a correct inventory of bolts communicate adjustments appropriately.
• Track usage physically, through our ERP system, and through the VT inventory sheet.
• Maintain excellent attendance, with overtime required as business needs dictate.
• Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned and fill in for other areas, as needed.
