Safety & Compliance: Adhere to OSHA, EPA, and ASME standards for boiler operation, safety, and environmental compliance. Conduct safety checks and ensure boiler room equipment meets industry standards. Respond to alarms and emergency shutdowns, diagnosing and resolving issues promptly. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all safety procedures are followed. Participate in safety meetings and contribute to the facility’s continuous improvement initiatives. Process Optimization & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of boiler operations, maintenance, inspections, and repairs. Monitor fuel consumption, steam usage, and efficiency metrics, recommending improvements when necessary. Assist in energy conservation initiatives by optimizing boiler efficiency and minimizing waste. Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to ensure seamless steam supply for forging processes. Qualifications & Requirements: Education & Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; technical school or boiler operator certification preferred. Previous experience operating and maintaining high-pressure boilers in an industrial or manufacturing setting (forging industry experience is a plus). Skills & Competencies: Basic mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of safety procedures related to boiler operation, hazardous materials, and confined spaces. Effective problem-solving and communication skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
