The Kitchen Supervisor role consists of stewarding responsibilities in support of the Kitchen Director, who is responsible for the whole kitchen. The functionality of this position calls for someone who is able to assess situations quickly, utilize situational leadership, and know how to shift pace as volume changes throughout different days of business. In addition to this, there is a necessity for a supreme level of commitment and tenacity. Candidates who are hired for this position will join the team as a team member, and will go through development to equip him/her with what they need to succeed as a leader at Chick-fil-A. The time spent getting to know the team and learning about our business is crucial to that success.

Requirements

  • 1 year Chick-fil-A kitchen experience or 2 years restaurant kitchen experience
  • 1 year commitment with our organization
  • Willingness to do a working interview
  • Discretion when handling sensitive information

  • Practice proper food safety procedures
  • Practicing proper use of food prep equipment
  • Orchestrate shifts
  • Proactive planning
  • Running breaks
  • Writing lineups
  • Training/coaching people on shift for all positions
  • Making necessary adjustments on shift
  • Stewarding one - two key responsibilities
  • Willing to be developed by a leader
