About The Position

Allen Turner Collision Center is seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Collision Estimator to join our team. The Estimator serves as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the repair process and is responsible for accurately assessing vehicle damage, preparing repair estimates, and coordinating with insurance providers and internal departments to ensure timely, high-quality repairs. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build trust with customers during what can often be a stressful time.

Requirements

• Previous collision estimating or automotive repair experience preferred
• Proficiency with estimating systems
• Strong understanding of collision repair procedures and insurance processes
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and professionally; guide them through the repair and insurance process
• Inspect vehicle damage and prepare accurate repair estimates using estimating software
• Communicate with insurance adjusters to negotiate and finalize repair approvals
• Explain estimates, timelines, and repair procedures clearly to customers
• Coordinate with technicians and parts departments to ensure proper repair planning
• Monitor repair progress and provide customers with regular status updates
• Identify and document supplemental damage when necessary
• Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and compliant with company and insurance standards
• Maintain CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) standards consistent with company expectations
