About The Position

Coordinate activities of Team Members to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations while promoting a team environment and improving all methods.

Requirements

Five years of production experience, with a minimum of two (2) plus years in a supervisory position.
Excellent communication skills.
Personal computer and software skills with Microsoft office experience, Plex experience is a plus.
Ability to read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

Ensures safety of self and others by following all Safety Policies/Procedures and wearing all required PPE.
Evaluate, develop, and ensure appropriate training processes are completed when employees move to different jobs.
Ensure quality requirements and procedures for the area are understood and met.
Manage team members time and attendance and perform coaching as necessary to improve attendance and turnover.
Aid team members in solving problems/ concerns that affect their performance.
Evaluate the issue and consult Manager and/ or Human Resources as needed to determine the most effective resolution.
Review production schedules to ensure the manufacturing of product(s) is completed and scheduled delivery dates are met.
Plan and review production operations, establishing priorities and sequences for manufacturing products.
Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent delays.
Report machine or personnel issues to their next direct member of leadership or management.
Utilize the appropriate personnel based on skill sets.
Develop & coordinate cost reduction activities to achieve yearly targets.
Monitor and adjust to meet expectations for quality, productivity, housekeeping, and safety.
Regular attendance is required.
Ability to work rotating shifts and overtime as required.
Must be flexible to work in all areas and in your department regardless of duties listed above in order to accomplish YKTA Goals and objectives.
