About The Position

This role involves overseeing the entire collision repair process from start to finish, ensuring both customers and insurance partners receive top-notch service. Key responsibilities include greeting customers professionally, educating them on the repair and insurance claim process, and preparing accurate repair damage reports. The position requires managing the workflow of repairs, coordinating sublet work, negotiating timelines, and ensuring high-quality, timely repairs. Additionally, the role demands excellent interpersonal skills to maintain strong relationships with both customers and insurance partners, utilizing tact and diplomacy in all interactions.

Requirements

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
Must assume responsibility for accuracy and timeliness of work product
Valid driver's license

Nice To Haves

Experience in the estimating/body shop/automotive field or insurance company a big PLUS
I-Car certification preferred
Proficient in the use of estimating software
Knowledge of insurance procedures and requirements

Responsibilities

Greet each customer in a professional and courteous manner.
Educate the customer about the collision repair process; including insurance claims, processing, payment procedures, repair techniques, repair needs and approximate repair time.
Prepare all repair damage reports in an accurate and precise manner.
Supervise and route each repair; including disbursement of all paperwork, scheduling, monitoring repairs, negotiating repair times, coordinating sublet work and all other aspects of the repair.
Provide the consumer with the most expeditious and high quality repair available.
Uses tact and diplomacy when dealing with internal and external customers.
Service all insurance accounts in order to maintain those business relationships vital to Russ Darrow's success.
