About The Position

Our A Body Mechanics repair cab and body damage on a Diesel Tractor to include; body, cab, cab extenders, bumpers, chrome accessories and components. This will include such responsibilities as but not limited to; assessing wreck damage and required repairs, repair time, and requesting parts needed to complete repairs. Prioritizing repairs. Responsibilities

Assess body and mechanical repairs needed on semi-tractor and determine necessary parts and supplies required.
Perform cab and body repairs as needed.
Body repairs will include surface preparation, bondo and fiberglass work, welding, sealing, sanding, primer, painting, repair and replacement of cab, sleeper, hood, bumpers, steps and all related body parts.
Document completed repairs on a Work Order.
Operate Tractor. This will include locating tractor and driving it into the shop, then parking tractor on lot when repairs are complete.
Clean work area. This will include cleaning floors, lot and common areas. Storing and cleaning shop and personal tools/equipment. Trash removal.
