About The Position

Boater’s World Marine Centers in Lake Placid, FL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Boat Detailer to join our team.

This role plays a key part in ensuring boats are clean, well-presented, and ready for customer delivery, showroom display, and service completion. The Boat Detailer also supports general yard operations to help maintain an organized and efficient dealership environment.

Requirements

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Ability to perform hands-on, physical work in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs.
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Pressure wash and clean boats to maintain a professional appearance.
• Detail boats to ensure interiors and exteriors are clean and presentable.
• Perform buffing and waxing to protect surfaces and maintain finish quality.
• Clean and maintain upholstery, flooring, and interior compartments.
• Clean and polish metal, glass, and canvas surfaces.
• Prepare boats for customer delivery, showroom display, and lot presentation.
• Ensure vessels meet dealership presentation standards prior to delivery.
• Maintain overall appearance and readiness of boats on the lot.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the service yard and staging areas.
• Help move and reposition boats for service, display, or delivery as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the lot and work areas.
• Support the Service Department and other teams as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work environment.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
• Follow dealership processes and direction from management.
