About The Position

Boater’s World Marine Centers in Bradenton, FL is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Boat Detailer to join our team.

This role plays an important part in ensuring boats are properly cleaned, prepped, and ready for delivery to customers or display on the showroom and lot. The Boat Detailer supports both the Sales and Service teams by maintaining the overall appearance and presentation of vessels across the dealership.

Requirements

• Detailing knowledge (marine or automotive)
• Marine detail or auto detail experience required
• Power tool experience
• Must know how to buff boats or automobiles
• Responsible for completing full details on marine surfaces
• This position is not for someone new to detailing
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to lift 25+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
• Must be able to pass a drug and background screening

Responsibilities

• Pressure wash and clean boats to maintain a professional appearance.
• Detail boats to ensure interiors and exteriors are clean and presentable.
• Perform buffing and waxing to protect surfaces and maintain finish quality.
• Clean and condition upholstery, flooring, and interior compartments.
• Prepare boats for customer delivery, showroom display, and lot presentation.
• Ensure all vessels meet dealership presentation standards prior to delivery.
• Maintain metal, glass, and exterior surfaces for a polished finish.
• Assist with organizing and maintaining the service yard and staging areas.
• Support the Service Department with additional tasks as assigned by management.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
