What does a typical day look like for the Board Certified Perfusionist ? You will: Monday through Friday for eight (8) hours a day from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m Occasional Off-Hours Coverage Support procedures and patients that are in the Intensive Care Unit requiring balloon pump/Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) support Direct Patient Care: 90% of the time involved in direct patient care Administrative: 10% of time is not involved in direct patient care What qualifications do you look for? You might be the professional we’re looking for if you have: U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. 10+ years of experience A graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology Be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion A minimum of 1000 clinical cases Experience in the following areas: Open heart surgery, autotransfusion, heart lung machine, membrane oxygenation, left/right heart bypass, intra-aortic balloon pumping and centrifugal ventricular assist device Basic Life Support (BLS) Previous experience with the VA is a plus What kind of benefits does Terrestris Offer? Requirements

  • U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder
  • Full and unrestricted license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.
  • 10+ years of experience
  • A graduate of an accredited Allied Health Education Program School of Perfusion Technology
  • Be certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion
  • A minimum of 1000 clinical cases
