A Behavior Analyst provides behavior intervention and treatment services to assigned caseload. This role performs assessments, data collection and maintenance of appropriate documentation, and conducts training with caregivers (employees and families) in a variety of settings.

Requirements

  • Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in person and virtual methods.
  • Knowledge of community geographical awareness and of community and agency resources.
  • Skill in customer service techniques
  • Skill in problem-solving
  • Master’s degree in human services.
  • One year successful experience working with individuals with disabilities.
  • Clinical Licensure as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
  • Valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Provides services utilizing evidence-based methodologies to provide excellent clinical services.
  • Prepare for and develop individual, group, and community interventions for assigned caseload.
  • Assists client in developing an individualized treatment plan/behavior intervention plan (BIP), must be person centered, family centered, and service centered.
  • Monitor service client progress in treatment and participate in treatment plan/BIP reviews as assigned.
  • Update treatment plans/BIPs as appropriate. Submit BIP for review by the Behavior Management Committee and the Human Rights Committee.
  • Conducts intake for clients entering services, including explaining services, gathering information needed on intake materials, ensuring service recipient understands all forms, assuring signature on appropriate contracts and consents, and submitting materials for processing, as assigned.
  • Conducts assessment and write assessment summaries, as assigned.
  • Maintains appropriate contact with external sources including providing information on client progress, behavior, and needs (with appropriate releases), and maintaining ongoing consultation when appropriate.
