About The Position

Ascend is a multidisciplinary company providing Speech, Occupational, and Physical therapy services, as well as Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy, to children with unique developmental needs. Services are offered in home-based care, outpatient clinics, and inclusive preschools. The company is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join its dedicated team in Manteca, CA. This full-time, in-person role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing evidence-based behavior intervention plans for children, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to support their development and success. Compensation ranges from $80,000 to $95,000 per year, based on experience.

Requirements

  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required).
  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, working with children with developmental or behavioral challenges.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Passion for working collaboratively to create positive outcomes for children and families.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive functional behavior assessments (FBAs) and skill assessments.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans based on the principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
  • Train parents and caregivers to implement effective behavior management strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze data to ensure the efficacy of treatment plans, making adjustments as needed.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, occupational therapists, early interventionist/ infant development specialists, and educators, to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Support a positive and inclusive learning environment for children and staff.
  • Maintain compliance with ethical and professional standards as outlined by the BACB.
