About The Position

At Potential Inc.'s Springtime School, our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) play a vital role in helping learners on the Autism spectrum develop meaningful skills, reduce barriers to learning, and thrive in an educational environment. BCBAs at our school oversee individualized behavior interventions, guide Registered Behavior Technicians, and collaborate with teachers to support effective skill acquisition programs. Requirements

  • Master's degree or PhD in Psychology, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification required (must be maintained)
  • Strong working knowledge of Autism Spectrum Disorder and current issues in special education
  • Experience using assessment tools such as VB-MAPP, ABLLS-R, Essentials for Living, or similar systems

Nice To Haves

  • Pennsylvania Behavior Specialist License (LBS) preferred
  • Supervisory or management experience

Responsibilities

  • Develop and oversee individualized behavior interventions for school-aged learners
  • Conduct assessments, including functional analyses, to inform treatment
  • Write comprehensive, effective Positive Behavior Support Plans
  • Complete all behavior-related sections of each student's IEP
  • Design, manage, and interpret data collection systems to monitor progress
  • Report on student outcomes at least quarterly
  • Participate in quarterly home visits to provide parent training
  • Supervise Registered Behavior Technicians and provide BACB-required supervision
  • Support teachers and allied health staff with behavior strategies and skill acquisition
  • Assist in designing and delivering in-service training
  • Conduct research to support teaching plan alternatives when needed
  • Collaborate across disciplines using evidence-based and scientific methods
