About The Position

We are looking for a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team! As a BCBA, you will provide services to children with autism and related disorders through observation, behavior intervention, and communication skills training. You will work closely with a team of specialists, to help implement principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). BCBA Job Summary We’re seeking an enthusiastic BCBA to design and oversee behavior intervention plans tailored to each client’s individual needs. You’ll work directly with families and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) while guiding data-based decision-making and promoting skill acquisition for children with autism.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field
  • Active BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • BLS/CPR Certification
  • Experience working with children with autism and related disorders
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Must have a valid driver’s

Nice To Haves

  • Experience providing ABA services to children in the community (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide supervision of around 20% of a learner's direct therapy hours
  • Update Behavior Plans every 3 months minimum.
  • Update assessments every 6 months minimum.
  • Complete Treatment Plans.
  • File authorization documents, including emails if applicable, in the appropriate fold.
  • Provide Caregiver Training.
  • Provide Coordination of Care.
  • Complete Competencies as assigned monthly by supervisory team.
  • Must adhere to hours authorized for individual learners.
  • Medical necessity must be justified on documentation and must support the duration billed.
  • Non-Billable/Administrative Hours are typically 20-25% of hours worked.
  • Complete Assessments/reassessments as needed.
  • Complete FBAs as needed.
  • Partake in IEP Meetings, as needed.
