About The Position

The Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) will provide support to individuals and their families by coordinating and providing services in Applied Behavior Analysis. A BCBA will oversee programming of ABA therapists and provide ongoing support and supervision as it relates to the implementation and documentation with treatment plans.

Requirements

  • Ability to problem solve.
  • Strong written communication skills and report writing.
  • Ability to respond quickly to phone calls, texts, and emails.
  • High competence in instructional skills, oral and written communication, organizational skills and interpersonal relations.
  • Knowledge of Word, Excel, and outlook systems.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, as needed.
  • Required: Master’s Degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or Related Field
  • Required: Board-Certified Behavior Analyst Certification by the BACB
  • Required: Experience with Programming in Clinical Settings Preferred
  • Required: Experience Supervising RBTs and/or Behavior Therapists Preferred
  • Required: Experience with Autism and Related Disorders

Responsibilities

  • Conduct functional assessments and behavior assessments using the VB-MAPP, ABLLS or AFLS.
  • Maintain caseload of clients and write individual treatment plans for each child assessed.
  • Ensure that all treatment plans and programs comply with contract requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations.
  • Manage and update client program books.
  • Remain compliant with all required trainings and certifications.
  • Communicate and coordinate with admin, autism case coordinators, and any supervisory staff.
  • Participate for Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for clients as appropriate.
  • Assist in the development, facilitation, and follow-up training in Applied Behavior Analysis.
  • Provide teaching and direct instruction to ABA therapists.
  • Provide ongoing support and training to families and other individuals in supporting roles.
  • Review and sign off on treatment plan training when necessary.
  • Participate in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, and team meetings.
  • Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA laws.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
