About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a dynamic and dedicated Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA/BCaBA) to apply their expertise in a rewarding K-12 school environment and create lasting, supportive behavioral systems across the school district for the upcoming academic year. Position Overview: Conduct and update Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) to identify the purpose of challenging behaviors and develop evidence-based Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs). Provide direct behavioral support to students (K-12) using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) methodologies and collaborate with school staff and families to ensure consistent implementation of interventions. Monitor and analyze behavioral data, including creating graphical representations, to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and inform necessary adjustments to student programming and IEP goals. Offer technical assistance and staff development to school personnel on positive behavioral supports, classroom management systems, and crisis intervention techniques.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Special Education, Psychology, or a related field
  • Alternatively: A Bachelor's degree with the BCaBA Certification
  • Valid National Certification as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
