About The Position

Blown Film Production Leader (Extrusion) Imagine guiding a round-the-clock extrusion operation where safety, quality, and throughput all move in sync. As the Production Leader for our blown film extrusion department, you orchestrate people, materials, and equipment to deliver exceptional results. Your mission Own the full performance of the extrusion department in a 24/7, high-volume setting—ensuring safe production of high-quality blown film while developing teams and systems. How you’ll make an impact Champion safety and quality, maintaining standards that meet or exceed company expectations. Consistently achieve production goals across shifts. Lead day-to-day operations: coach and oversee teams, troubleshoot processes, conduct training and performance reviews, and give clear feedback to improve safety, waste, quality, and productivity. Optimize materials: forecast needs, utilize off-set materials, and actively manage production output, labor cost, scrap rate, and changeover times. Control departmental operating costs and drive cost improvements. Be accountable for all extrusion personnel and all equipment within the facility. Develop collaborative relationships with customers and suppliers to support operational success. Partner with corporate materials and supply management to ensure proper material management and processing. Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience with blown film extrusion.
  • A deep, proven commitment to safety.
  • Leadership experience in fast-paced manufacturing, including multi-shift team management.
  • Record of meeting or surpassing production targets.
  • Strong technical acumen with excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • History of mentoring and coaching shift leads and production employees.

Nice To Haves

  • B.S. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Blow Molding Experience
