The Full-time Bloodmobile Driver with CDL position in Reading supports MKBC by facilitating successful blood drives within our community. The anticipated hourly wage starts at $17.29/hr and is commensurate with experience. Requirements

  • CDL A or B, DOT Medical card, and experience driving a box truck or larger vehicle preferred.
  • The ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.
  • Excellent communication (verbal, written, and listening) to engage donors and employees of all backgrounds.
  • Strong work ethic including attendance, trust, flexibility, and reliability.
  • A passion to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing priorities to meet the needs of the blood center.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Outlook, Microsoft office and with basic tablets and computers.

Responsibilities

  • Loading vehicles with necessary supplies, driving to blood drive locations, set up and assist with the blood drive, then pack up, return to the blood center and unload equipment.
  • Greeting and assisting donors, visitors, and clients in a friendly yet professional manner.
  • Providing accurate information, responding to inquiries, and resolving issues promptly and respectfully.
  • Completing vehicle and blood drive documentation in accordance with our company's standards.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned, including training, becoming familiar with new/updated SOP's, and assisting with special projects as needed.
