About The Position

This position provides verification and administrative support to the Batching areas in the effort to efficiently and effectively meet all internal and external compliance requirements of Cold Spring Brewing Company.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Knowledge working in Outlook, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and use of customer portals
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
  • Good reasoning and problem-solving skills.
  • Good at multitasking and utilizing time efficiently.
  • Regular use of computer, writing, and filing records

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with SAP or other inventory management systems
  • Experience with GMP and/or HACCP regulations
  • Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry
  • 1-3 years’ experience in a Quality environment or manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Verify for correctness and accuracy all batching kits prior to being shipping to the main plant.
  • Assists with inventory accuracy for CSBC and customers.
  • Assists in the coordination, monitoring and testing of all Vendors to meet Quality/Compliance expectations for products they provide.
  • Assists in working with manufacturing in designing and enhancing quality management systems to facilitate overall regulatory compliance.
  • Assists the Batching Compliance Analyst Lead in serving as liaison with all compliance issues.
  • Verification of ingredient quantities during kit stage in DC batching area. Must be able to lift 55 lbs. on a regular basis.
  • Organoleptic analysis of all supplied ingredients.
  • Report any non-conformance
  • Know all quality standards and expectations of position
  • Report any waste or poor conservation practices
  • Continuously looking for improved practices and processes in your position, and contributing these ideas to your immediate supervisor
  • Know all safety requirements of position prior to starting any job.
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures established by the company.
  • Performs all other duties as assigned or required by supervisor/customer.
