About The Position

Connect Staffing is seeking an experienced Blender for a food manufacturing facility in Fullerton, CA. Schedule: Monday–Friday 7:00 AM- 3:30 PM. Must be flexible to work different shifts if needed.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of blending and food manufacturing experience
Familiarity with ingredients, processes, and finished product disposition.
Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Attention to Detail IS A MUST
Ability to operate a powered industrial truck and a pallet jack
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English
Must pass a background, drug screen, and E-Verify

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in roles such as machine operator, batcher, compounder, production worker, food production worker, and food manufacturing technician is a big plus!

Responsibilities

Ensure quality standards and productivity standards are achieved, with safety being a priority.
Responsible for the accuracy of inventory, productivity, meeting customer schedules, and maximizing operational efficiency.
Store raw materials/ingredients properly
Maintaining the blending room in good sanitary condition and implementing quality/food safety standards to achieve high scores during internal and external audits.
Report all safety incidents (injuries and illnesses) on the same day that the safety incident occurred to management.
Follow the formula instructions and recipes
Follow allergen washdown procedures in the blending room
Report Food Safety issues, Food quality issues or incidents.
