Essential responsibilities: • Sets up and operates electro-mechanical machinery such as sifters and blenders of diverse volume capacities. • Inspects materials for any foreign objects that may adulterate the batch. • Follows the blending instructions that are placed on the batch record. • Follows work instructions to perform each process step per set standards of health/quality, efficiency and safety. • Uses scales and computers to collect and record information, such as weight, batch code, time of blended, if intensifier bar is needed, and amount of barrels that are produced. • Investigates if product yield is not met to report in writing a reasonable justification. • Uses hand tools for the assembly and disassembly of removable machines’ parts. • Uses cleaning tools and sanitation substances to prepare room and equipment per public health standards of food products. • Keeps cleaning tools and substances outside blending rooms and maintains them clean, pure, and in good order.
