About The Position

Deburr operators work under minimal supervision to perform all levels of hand finishing tasks such as removal of edges, metal flaws using different type of hand deburr tools to achieve specified surface finishes on different types of metals.  This position requires basic understanding of different deburr methods. Deburr operators also demonstrate the ability to perform expert level of visual metal castings, following the quality specs such as AS9100 and ISO900

Requirements

• Minimum experience required 0-3 years.
• High School Diploma preferred not required
• Must possess basic computer skills
• Basic math skills

Responsibilities

• Ability to perform expert level visual inspections
• Ability to Deburr I.D. & O.D castings surfaces
• Ability to work under minimal supervision
• Responsible to deburr various metal parts to remove sharp edges left as a product of pouring
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions
• Ability to cross train in other areas as needed
