What You'll Do: Operate automated and manual blasting equipment to clean and prepare concrete poles. Load and unload parts into blasting chambers or onto material handling equipment utilizing a crane. Monitor control panels and equipment indicators to ensure proper operation and cycle timing. Adjust machine settings to achieve required blast profiles. Inspect surfaces to ensure they meet cleanliness and texture standards. Identify and correct issues during shot blasting to ensure quality standards are met. Conduct basic maintenance such as greasing equipment, checking fluid levels, and changing filters or media. Maintain clean work areas and adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality standards. Communicate with supervisors and team members to ensure efficient workflow and production goals are met.   • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to read and follow work orders, production schedules, and safety procedures.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
  • Dependable attendance and a strong commitment to teamwork and safety.
  • Prior experience operating industrial or abrasive blasting equipment preferred.
  • Understanding of surface preparation standards and blast profile requirements preferred.
