About The Position

Performs all duties in a safe manner, being responsible for the safety of yourself and the employees around you Performs all Blaster II job responsibilities competently Communicates with customer and co-workers, daily and through-out the shift, to ensure proper people, equipment and products for each blast pattern Manage any direct reports with respect Willing to train and mentor co-workers Thorough knowledge of product line to apply best product for specific application, with emphasis on fragmentation and costs Ensure all co-workers have the necessary equipment/supplies to perform assigned task Ensure all patterns are loaded properly, and required shots are scheduled daily Maintain necessary documentation for all inspection books and inventory requirements Communicate bin levels with Nelson Brothers, and any other required parties, along with daily projections, manage bin inventory and deliveries Ensure all servicing is being scheduled for bulk trucks and support equipment Work with Mine Supervisors and NB personnel throughout the day to ensure proper communication and objectives are met Assist in ensuring all co-workers paper work is accurate, neat, and complete Work with appropriate personnel to ensure inventories are accurate Assist in communicating maintenance issues, including scheduling preventive maintenance Ensure all equipment and buildings are clean, inside and out Manage and communicate product type and needs to ensure all targets and objectives are met Supervises blast crew including initiating the disciplinary process with employees when needed Operates Following Equipment: All Blaster II equipment Lazer Profiler GPS Systems

Responsibilities

Ensure patterns are loaded properly and shots are scheduled daily
Maintain documentation for inspection books and inventory requirements
Communicate bin levels with Nelson Brothers and manage bin inventory and deliveries
Schedule servicing for bulk trucks and support equipment
Work with Mine Supervisors and NB personnel to ensure communication and objectives are met
Assist in ensuring coworker paperwork is accurate and complete
Work with personnel to ensure inventories are accurate
Communicate maintenance issues and schedule preventive maintenance
Ensure equipment and buildings are clean
Manage and communicate product type and needs to meet targets and objectives
Supervise blast crew, including disciplinary actions
