About The Position

Key Responsibilities Offloading & Transfers: Assist with offloading finished goods (4:00 AM – 5:30 AM), palletizing, wrapping, and recording counts before transfer to warehouse staff. Pre-Operation Support: Assist production crew with pre-op tasks including labeling boxes, staging packaging materials, and assembling equipment as needed. Blast Freezer Operations: Load cases/units from conveyor belts into blast freezer racks in production order. Maintain rack organization for FIFO and product traceability. Safety & Compliance: Follow GMPs, food safety protocols, and PPE requirements while working in extreme cold. Cross-Support: Perform other duties as assigned to support production and warehouse operations. Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a blast freezer environment (-20°F to -32°F) for extended periods with protective gear. Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. Standing, bending, repetitive motions, and pallet handling throughout the shift. Work Environment: Cold Temperature: This position requires the ability to work in a cold storage environment, with temperatures typically ranging from 0°F to -30°F. Protective clothing and equipment are provided. Physical Demands: The role involves repetitive motions, standing, walking, bending, lifting, and carrying heavy products (up to 50 lbs) for long periods of time. Safety-Focused: A strong emphasis on safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), adherence to health and safety guidelines, and awareness of warehouse safety procedures.
