Blade Operator
About The Position
What You'll Do: Operate top-tier equipment like Caterpillar 140H and John Deere 672GP to perform grading, excavation, embankment shaping, and finish work to tight specifications. Lay asphalt, base, and other materials with accuracy and efficiency. Blade haul roads and contribute to general site work with a focus on quality and safety. Travel to diverse job sites and adapt to changing locations and schedules. What We're Looking For: 4+ years of Motor Grader / finish blade experience. 2+ years of hands-on experience with Trimble GPS. Solid understanding of construction practices and site operations. Ability to service, oil, grease, and make equipment adjustments. Familiarity with proper worksite signals and safety protocols. Strong background in heavy civil construction is highly preferred. Excellent housekeeping and attention to detail. Comfortable working with various measurements (metric, feet, hundredths). Outstanding communication and teamwork skills.
