About The Position
Holiday Inn Express Bettendorf is seeking a Part-Time Bartender for its hotel Bistro, located across from the TBK Sports Complex. The role involves serving both alcoholic drinks and food during night shifts, typically from 4/4:30 PM to 10/10:30 PM, with restaurant hours from 5 PM to 10 PM. The position offers an hourly wage of $8.50 plus tips, with no tip sharing. Candidates must have at least 1 year of bartending experience. Frontier Hospitality Group, a locally owned company since 1950, operates eight hotels and emphasizes work/life harmony, offering flexible scheduling.
Requirements
- Must have at least 1 year experience in bartending.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends.
Responsibilities
- Takes drink orders and uses suggestive selling and upselling opportunities.
- Informs guests of specials and makes suggestions regarding beverage and food options.
- Prepares cocktails and other alcoholic drinks.
- Processes all guest orders, checks and payments promptly.
- Stocking inventory.
- Close of shift reports and deposit.
- Performs other duties as may be required within own department.
