About The Position

The Bistro at Courtyard offers a chic, fast-casual dining experience with a menu featuring to-go options and full sit-down fare, including cocktails, wine, beer, and Starbucks coffee. Bistro Team Members handle various food & beverage functions such as serving, preparing ingredients, processing orders, collecting payments, and assisting in food & beverage service areas. They also maintain cleanliness of prep areas, perform general cleaning duties, and follow cash handling procedures and property control audit standards.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred.
Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and more than 50 pounds with assistance.
Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
Clear and professional communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

Serve coffee, beverages (including alcohol), and food to guests.
Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning and chopping.
Process customer orders and collect payments.
Bus tables, clean and reset tables, and deliver food to guests.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance tasks in food and beverage prep areas.
Count cash bank at the end of shifts and adhere to cash handling procedures.
Follow company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management.
Maintain clean and professional appearance and adhere to uniform standards.
Welcome and acknowledge guests, anticipate service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with team members.
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.
Perform any other tasks/duties as assigned by the manager/ supervisor.
