Program/Department Responsibilities Assist in organizing, implementing and promoting assigned programs, special events and birthday parties. Be informed of all current and/or upcoming programs and special events in order to interpret YMCA membership and program information to members and potential members to increase their participation in each area. Assist birthday party with movement throughout facility as well as maintain a safe atmosphere for parties. Facilitate birthday party games when needed or directed by Associate Executive Director. Adhere to YMCA emergency birthday party and general procedures, including notification of appropriate professional staff person(s). Ensure all requests, comments and/or complaints are immediately addressed by you, and referred to your supervisor and/or the appropriate staff person. 1. Fiscal Responsibilities Ensure birthday parties have paid remaining balance on accounts. 1. Supervision of Personnel None 1. Facility/Housekeeping Responsibility Ensure a safe environment for all participants. Be responsible for cleaning (using the damp towel method) as assigned, (before and after all birthday parties or special events). 1. Interdivisional/Community/Volunteer Responsibility Demonstrate the character values of Caring, Respect, Honesty and Responsibility at all times.
