As our Birth Registration Clerk, you will be responsible for obtaining accurate information for the birth certificate reporting and preparing the certificates in accordance with state rules and regulations. Every day, you will coordinate and organize birth certificate information to ensure effective workflow and provide quality assurance in the Birth Certificate process. Here’s what you will experience working as a Birth Registration Clerk: Efficiently handle the receipt, review, and processing of birth and death certificate applications. Authenticate identification and documentation to ensure compliance with legal standards and authenticity. Accurately input and update vital records of information in secure, confidential databases. Address inquiries and aid the public, funeral homes, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies regarding vital records. Collaborate with physicians, coroners, and other relevant professionals to gather precise information and ensure timely submission of documents. Execute clerical tasks, including filing, photocopying, and document imaging, to support office operations.
