This is a hybrid role—when you’re not assigned to exclusion installation projects, you’ll be fully trained and work as a Bird Removal Technician in your home market. That means steady work, broader skills, and more opportunities to grow. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys skilled installation work, problem-solving, and hands-on field service.
Requirements
- Enjoy skilled, hands-on work with variety.
- Are comfortable working at heights and using ladders or lifts.
- Like both installation work and active field service.
- Have strong attention to detail and take pride in quality.
- Work well independently and as part of a team.
- Take safety seriously and follow procedures.
- Communicate respectfully and professionally.
- Adapt easily to changing job sites, schedules, and assignments.
Nice To Haves
- Construction, General Laborer, or facilities experience.
- Lift, ladder, or fall protection training.
- Wildlife control, pest control, or bird control experience.
- Mechanical or installation background.
Responsibilities
- Install bird exclusion systems including netting, wire, spikes, and structural deterrents.
- Perform exclusion work at commercial retail, grocery, and big box locations.
- Work at heights using ladders, lifts, and required safety equipment.
- When not assigned to exclusion projects, perform bird removal services.
- Follow all safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures.
- Read work orders, site plans, and installation specifications.
- Communicate clearly with supervisors, teammates, and customers.
- Document completed work and site conditions accurately.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and vehicles in safe working condition.
- Represent Meridian professionally on all customer sites.
