About The Position

As part of the Thermo Fisher Scientific team, you will engage in meaningful work that positively impacts the world. This collaborative sales role as an Account Manager III focuses on increasing revenue and building lasting customer relationships by representing a comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services. The position involves developing and implementing strategic sales plans, managing key account relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction through consultative selling. You will work with cross-functional teams to deliver tailored solutions, achieve sales targets, and serve as a trusted advisor to help customers advance their scientific goals through a combination of customer visits and virtual engagement.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's of Science degree
  • 5 years of work related experience
  • Technical knowledge and ability to understand customer applications and workflows
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain customer relationships at all levels
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and MS Office suite
  • Analytical and strategic planning capabilities
  • Results-oriented with demonstrated success in achieving sales targets
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a matrix environment
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 25-50% within assigned territory

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred fields of study: Life Sciences, Biology or related scientific field
  • Preferably 2 plus years of sales in laboratory, scientific, or healthcare industries
  • Experience working at the bench
