About The Position

Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative II to contribute to their mission of making the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. This role focuses on generating sales growth through virtual and digital channels by building strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical, and industrial markets. The successful candidate will promote and sell a comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services, utilizing consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions. The position involves working in a collaborative environment to develop and execute strategic sales plans, manage customer relationships using a CRM system, and partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets. Requirements

  • Master's Degree plus 2 years of sales and/or laboratory/research experience
  • Demonstrated success in meeting or exceeding sales goals and targets
  • Strong consultative selling and relationship building skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce) and Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to develop and maintain deep product and technical knowledge
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Effective at working both independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent time management and ability to handle multiple priorities
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to travel 10-25% for customer meetings and internal events
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must align with company values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
  • Foreign language proficiency may be required for certain regions

  • Fields of Study: Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry or related scientific field
