Position Summary The Biomedical Technician Intern supports the assigned location by learning and performing operational verification, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of medical equipment. Requirements

• Enrollment in a 2‑ or 4‑year accredited biomedical program, with graduation expected within 12 months.
• Ability to perform basic operational verification, preventive maintenance, and repair on medical equipment.
• Familiarity with test equipment such as digital multimeters, patient simulators, or electrical safety analyzers.
• Ability to read and interpret technical literature, schematics, and technical drawings.
• Basic computer skills and understanding of equipment interfacing.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel periodically.
• Ability to lift or push up to 75 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Strong communication, organization, and customer‑service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational verification, preventive maintenance, and basic repair of medical equipment under supervision.
• Complete all required documentation and data entry accurately and on time.
• Support equipment inspections, calibrations, and inventory management activities.
• Interact professionally with clinical staff and deliver prompt, customer‑focused service.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
