About The Position

Emplify Health is looking to add a Biomedical Technician to our team! What You'll Do: The Biomedical Technician Associate is an entry-level position that performs simple to moderately complex technical work in the installation, maintenance, and repair of diagnostic and therapeutic medical/imaging electronic equipment. Additionally, the technician may provide limited support and maintenance of applications and servers for applications for specific medical devices. The technician works under moderately close supervision while demonstrating necessary technical and problem-solving aptitude. The technician is expected to develop the necessary proficiencies and expertise to consistently ensure medical devices meet the highest standard of providing safe patient care. What's Available: Fulltime, 80 hours biweekly (1.0 FTE) Schedule: Monday-Friday between 7:00 am - 4:00 pm Primarily based in La Crosse, WI but may require travel to support other locations as needed We have the ability to fill positions at various experience levels depending on candidates' existing experience

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Biomedical Electronics, Biomedical Equipment Technology, or a similar program - or - equivalent years of experience and education
  • 2 years of experience maintaining and performing diagnostic work to medical equipment
  • Complex understanding of hospital based biomedical equipment technician experience (BMET)
  • Valid Driver's License (DL)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with medical equipment and electronic part identification is preferred but not required.
  • No professional certification required
