About The Position

Join STERIS and help create a safer, healthier world by keeping critical hospital equipment up and running across Oregon. This remote, customer-facing role blends hands-on technical work with meaningful impact for caregivers and patients. A day in your life You start your day from home, review your scheduled work on your company laptop, and head out in your company vehicle to hospital sites. On arrival, you’ll diagnose performance issues, complete preventive maintenance, and repair STERIS and other manufacturers’ medical equipment used every day in patient care. You’ll document your work in our digital tools to meet regulatory requirements, then brief hospital staff with clear recommendations, repair options, and pricing. When unusual problems arise, you’ll collaborate with Tech Support, Engineering, and Service Contract Management to resolve them quickly. Between visits, you’ll spot opportunities that enhance the customer experience and coordinate with our Sales team. As service needs shift, you’ll support various facilities throughout your assigned territory. Where you’ll work This is a remote, field-based position, primarily inside hospitals.
