Responsibilities

  • Records complete description of rental equipment in the cleaning log with date and initials and if applicable include AHM serial number.
  • Cleans and disinfects all rental equipment based on SOP’s propriety to each piece of equipment.
  • Cleans and disinfects using appropriate cleaner (Madacide, Sanazide, etc) and use according to manufacturer directions.
  • Completes, signs and dates appropriate colored quality assurance (QA) tag indicating equipment type, serial number, and complete description.
  • Pulls, stages, and prepares all equipment/stock for daily deliveries, including loading onto the trucks.
  • Updates oxygen manifest with lot numbers of oxygen tanks loaded into trucks.
  • Assists in the inspection of vehicles to ensure compliance with rules, standards, and regulations.
  • Assists in the “patient walk-in” process that is pull and supply all goods and validates with a signed order ticket.
  • Determines if equipment needs to be sent to the Bio-Medical department for electrical bench check.
  • After cleaning equipment, returns to stock in “Patient Ready” area. Equipment must always be tagged and bagged.
  • Cross train as delivery technician as requested.
  • Performs other warehouse functions including sweeping, disposal of cardboard and rubbish, etc., as assigned.
  • Completes required departmental in-services, as required.
  • Completes other duties as assigned.
