In line with this commitment, our client is seeking a technical and highly organised Biomedical Engineer to join their team on a full-time basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or Biomedical Engineering
• Valid driver’s licence
• Strong technical acumen with a professional approach
• Minimum of three years’ experience in a similar role
• Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Strong report-writing, communication, and IT skills

Responsibilities

• Evaluating the safety, efficiency, and effectiveness of biomedical, scientific, and industry-based machines, equipment, and software
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date service histories for specific machines and equipment
• Educating, training, and guiding clinicians and other service personnel on best practices related to machine usage
• Providing timely, detailed, and accurate reports on service work performed, including equipment and software performance, required expenses, and time allocations
• Developing, maintaining, and strengthening customer relationships through expert advice and specialist service provision
• Providing feedback and working closely with service managers and site managers to optimise equipment and software performance, productivity, and lifespan
• Assisting in the development and continuous improvement of service and maintenance processes and related documentation
• Continuously developing effective troubleshooting methods to provide remote technical assistance to customers
