Job Description Summary: Job Description: Provide direct leadership to Equipment & Video Techs. Adjust daily staffing assignments. Assist in developing and provide training for the cleaning of movable medical equipment. Transporting medical equipment throughout medical campus. Managing inventory level to maintain stocking par levels. Perform in-service education on basic equipment functional tests and scheduled preventive maintenance. Validate staff competences on all assigned duties. Promotes the safe use of clinical equipment and seeks opportunities for the efficient management of clinical equipment. Supports in the operation of continuous quality improvements. Additional Job Description: Monitor movable medical equipment stocking locations par levels. Effectively determines clinical equipment operation status. Clean medical equipment in-between patient use. Scan Barcode to update medical equipment location. Perform Preventive Maintenance and safety testing. Documentation and paperwork related to medical equipment for regulatory reporting. Participation in the identification of value added enhancements. Provide assistance to other technicians. Promotes the safe effective use of clinical equipment. Maintains effective professional customer relations and communication. Establish efficient and effective equipment cleaning practices. Monitor and adjust daily work assignments for Equipment and Video techs. Support the reduction of equipment rental expenses. Develop, maintain and provide in-service education to Equipment and Video techs. Monitor effectiveness of 24/7 Medical Equipment support operations. Monitor medical equipment utilization and identify opportunities for improvement. All other duties as assigned.
