About The Position

This position is responsible for proper operation of mechanical systems and equipment. These systems are life support systems or essential utilities, including heating, ventilation and air conditioning, critical and commercial refrigeration, special ventilation hoods, terminal and control equipment, pneumatic, automated building systems and direct digital controls. Under the direct supervision of a Supervisor/Lead Mechanic, this position will provide a safe campus, including: Monitors, trouble shoots and customizes the HVAC Energy Management System to optimize energy saving’s Completes inspections and repairs of all mechanical and refrigeration equipment according to established procedures. Requirements

• High School diploma or GED/Equivalent (required)
• 5 years commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration (required)
• Current Valid Driver’s License must be maintained (required)

Nice To Haves

• HVAC apprenticeship or 2 years associates degree (preferred)
• 10 years commercial/industrial HVAC and refrigeration (preferred)
• HVAC Journeyman (preferred)
• EPA Technician Certification (preferred)
