About The Position

Piper Companies is currently looking for an experienced Biomed Equipment Technician in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (PA) to work for a large healthcare network in support of imaging services.

Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience with board level troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance on general and specialized biomedical equipment.
• Must have OR (operating room) equipment experience
• Must have experience repairing and troubleshooting Philips monitoring equipment
• Experience working in a hospital or healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Perform repair and scheduled maintenance on patient and non-patient electronic/mechanical equipment such as Anesthesia machines, NICU equipment, Fetal monitors, Lab equipment, Blood Cell Savers, and other Diagnostic and monitoring equipment.
• Conduct quality assurance inspections and installations.
